Providing hotel video production in London, I recently created a promotional video for InterContinental London - The O2, one of the leading properties under InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG).
The main objective was to craft a visually appealing representation of the hotel and its surroundings while showcasing London as a travel destination. Ensuring alignment with the client's vision, I engaged in a virtual meeting with the hotel's Marketing Director and Marketing Executive. Such pre-production discussions are crucial for understanding client needs and creating a video that conveys the brand's essence.
The production was an exhilarating experience. We commenced early in the morning to capture the hotel's allure under the morning light, and to film the breakfast room before guests arrived. We set up a narrative featuring a protagonist engaging in outdoor sports to demonstrate the hotel's location on the banks of the Thames. This unique selling point was highlighted throughout the video, displaying picturesque views from the hotel windows.
London, being a city packed with attractions, was filmed on a separate day. Our 'hero' ventures into the city for sightseeing, adding to the dynamic appeal of the video.
The hotel video culminates back at the InterContinental London - The O2, presenting the hero unwinding with a spa massage, followed by a dinner with a cocktail. This narrative arc was designed to embody the epitome of a luxury stay at the hotel.
The client was thrilled with the outcome, and the video has since found a place on their website and across different marketing channels. This project further solidified my reputation as a trusted name in hotel video production in London, consistently delivering results that not only meet but exceed client expectations.
