Selected work

Filmed in the lava fields and on the coast.

Iceland’s hotels sell landscape and shelter at once — both films lean into that contrast.

Marketing outcomes

Built for brand — and for bookings.

Direct bookings

Clear positioning and persuasive pacing that move guests to book with you, not the OTA.

On-page engagement

Cinematic hero visuals that lift time-on-site and carry your brand across the journey.

Paid-social ROAS

Thumb-stopping vertical edits built for ads — hooks, captions and safe-zones per platform.

Why it needs a specialist

The light writes the schedule.

Nowhere else does the calendar change a film this much. In June the golden hour barely ends — you can shoot exteriors at midnight. In December the sun gives four usable hours, low and sculptural, and the aurora works the night shift. Neither season is wrong; they make different films, and the choice should be deliberate.

The weather is the other author. Conditions can turn in an hour, wind grounds drones without asking, and distances between locations are real. We build Icelandic schedules with weather margin and alternative setups for every day — the difference between a shoot that survives Iceland and one that’s shaped by it.

Usage & licensing — clear and simple.  Transparent, itemised licences to match what you need: website, organic social, paid social, OTA & partners, in-property screens or global brand use. Multi-property groups and cross-border campaigns bundle efficiently.

The in-room TV play.  Looped on the in-room screen, guests meet your property the moment they walk in — the spa, the dining, the experiences they haven’t booked yet. It earns its place quietly, every day, at no ongoing cost.

FAQ — hotel video in Iceland

Before you enquire
What does a hotel film in Iceland cost?

Every project is quoted to scope — the property, the number of films and the shoot days all shape it. Send a short brief and we’ll come back with a clear, fixed quote.

Winter or summer — when should we film?

They make different films: summer gives endless golden light and green landscape; winter gives snow, low sun and the aurora. We help you choose based on what the property sells most of.

What about Iceland’s weather?

We plan for it rather than around it — weather margin in every schedule, interior alternatives for every day, and setups that use dramatic conditions instead of hiding from them.

Do you handle drone filming in Iceland?

Yes — flights follow the EASA framework, with wind the main constraint. We plan aerial windows day by day and carry high-vantage alternatives.

How long does production take?

Most Iceland shoots are two to three days on the ground. First cut: 10–14 days after shoot. Final delivery: usually 3–6 weeks after shoot.
