Riverside Saigon

The brief
Start at the hotel, then let the city pull you out into it.
Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon sits on the river in District 1, the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. The commission was a small suite of films finished to the Renaissance brand: a hotel brand film carrying the property’s design, team and service; a run of vertical reels for its restaurant; and a Navigator film built on the brand’s own idea — using the hotel as a launch point to explore the city around it. All of it for the website, in-house screens and social.
The approach
Renaissance is a brand about discovery, so the standout piece — the Navigator reel — was built to feel like stepping out of the lobby and into Saigon: the streets, the texture, the life of District 1, with the hotel as home base. The brand film stayed closer to the property — interiors and exteriors, the team in genuine moments of service, the ambience that makes the place feel like itself — shot from its most flattering angles. The restaurant reels were quick, appetite-first vertical cuts: the kitchen, the dishes, the room. Across all of it the aim was the same — real moments over staged ones, and a city that feels worth the flight.
