The brief
A secluded tropical paradise on the quiet shore of Koh Samui — a film with the calm of the place itself.
Melati Beach Resort & Spa sits away from the busy side of Samui, on the water at Bophut. The brief was a hotel & destination film — gentle, inspiring, slow — that carried the feeling guests come for, a secluded retreat in nature, with a set of vertical social reels cut from the same shoot.
The approach
We followed a single guest through a real day — waking, tea on the terrace, breakfast, the concierge’s map, the pool and the spa, an evening by the water. Drone and wide shots place the resort in its setting; details and quiet service moments carry the texture. The grade stays soft and warm, and the sound design — sea, birds, forest — does as much as the picture.
