Song Saa
Private Island

The brief
Make a film that carries the wellness of the island — not a resort advert.
Song Saa Private Island sits in Cambodia’s Koh Rong Archipelago: barefoot luxury built around wellness, nature and conservation. The brief focused on that wellness experience — a cinematic hotel film for the website and in-villa screens that lets travellers feel the calm of the place before they book, plus a library of social content to keep the island present all year.
Set in the Koh Rong Archipelago off the coast of Cambodia, Song Saa is one of Southeast Asia’s best-known private-island resorts — and the film had to match that reputation. From a single five-day shoot we built a complete library of cinematic hotel video: a wellness-led hero film, plus thirty short-form reels for Instagram and Stories. It’s resort video content designed to last — usable as a muted website background, on in-villa screens and across social for years, without ever feeling like a dated promo.
The approach
We built the film around nature and quiet — self-reflection, calm and the rhythm of the island, with no motorised vehicles and no hard sell. Detailed sound design holds up muted behind a website and rewards you on an in-villa TV. Across five days on the island we captured enough to deliver the hero film and thirty social reels, from simple Story cut-downs to fuller, narrated pieces — including educational content for the Song Saa Foundation and its conservation work.
Muted and unmuted
Sound design that sits silent behind a website, and comes alive on an in-villa screen.
Wellness over inventory
Nature, calm and self-reflection — not a checklist of rooms and facilities.
One shoot, a full library
A hero brand film plus 30 reels, so the island has content to post all year.
